  2. What does UNO CMS propose as an advantage opposing to other CMS?

  3. Does UNO CMS work on all Operating Systems? 

    Yes, it is a cloud-based practice management system that positively works on

  4. Do I need to purchase hardware?

    You do not need to purchase additional hardware to use UNO CMS. Because it’s cloud-based, UNO CMS works perfectly on any modern device you currently own without buying any additional devices.

  5. Does UNO CMS work offline?  

    UNO CMS doesn’t work offline. This is done to prevent duplicated/mismatched entries and other errors that may occur when multiple users make changes to the same database.


  6. What happens if the internet goes down? 

    It’s recommended to use tethering or have a back-up 4G dongle. That will help you to go on while being offline until the server comes back. We also encourage our users to have dedicated internet/WIFI subscriptions for your locations as your primary network.  

  7. What are the different access rights in UNO CMS? 

    UNO CMS uses granular Access Control Levels to manage access rights within the CMS. As a doctor, you can create and manage different accounts for different roles including Doctors, Locums, Clinic Managers, Clinic Assistants, Finance, and Operations staff. Each account can only access the information they are specifically granted, with only authorized ‘“super“ administrators with full control and access.

  8. Do you offer a free trial? 

    We offer a one-month free trial to allow your users to evaluate and get a feel of our UNO CMS.

  9. Compliance with MOH requirements and policies  

    UNO also works closely with MOH to provide you with the latest government/regulatory required system updates as well so you never have to worry about new policies. 

  10. IHIS / SmartCMS Updates 

    UNO also works closely with IHIS as a preferred vendor to provide you with the latest SmartCMS updates so you never have to worry about new claims or submission requirements.

  11. Is UNO CMS NEHR integrated?

    UNO CMS is currently at stage 3 analysis phase for NEHR integration. We are entering the stage 4 testing phase soon and are fully committed to be 100% NEHR ready by end 2022 to better serve our clients.

  12. Is UNO CMS Healthier SG (HSG) ready?

    UNO is currently working closely with IHiS and MOH to meet HSG requirements. We are fully committed to be HSG compatible by mid 2023.

Data related

  1. How secure is my patient data?

    UNO regards the integrity and privacy of Patient Data as our utmost objective. All your data are securely stored on Amazon’s AWS Cloud, which complies with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and is also certified under the Singapore Multi-Tier Cloud Security (MTCS) standards.

  2. Do I own my Data?

    Yes, you own your own data. Data is securely stored on AWS in Singapore, and Alibaba Cloud in Malaysia and China). Your records are confidential and only you and users you authorize can access them. 

  3. Can my existing clinic data be migrated into UNO CMS?

    We have imported clinic data from many other CMS software in Singapore before, including other SmartCMS and even DOS-Based legacy systems. Our team is specialised and very experienced in data migration, we can securely migrate the data for you in a rapid fashion, so you can start using UNO CMS immediately.

  4. Is it difficult to migrate data out from UNO CMS? 

    It takes minimal effort to import and migrate. We can return your data in an open format (csv or XML) so that you can upload it to the CMS of your choice. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products to retain your business instead of trapping you! UNO does not engage in any form of data hogging behavior.

  5. What is the notice period if I’ve decided to change to another CMS?

    A notice period of 30 days is required for the termination of our service. Upon your notice, we will provide you a copy of your data in xml or csv format with proper labeling, usually in less than a week’s time. During these 30 days, you can continue to use UNO CMS with no disruptions at all.

  6. How much data can I store on UNO CMS? 

    All the data is securely stored on Amazon Web Services(AWS) in Singapore, free of charge for the first 50 GB of data. For Malaysia and China, data is stored on Alibaba Cloud.


  7. Does UNO provide a local backup of clinic data? 

    We no longer provide local data backup service, all the data are securely stored on AWS in Singapore. and Alibaba Cloud in Malaysia and China.

  1. Is there training provided for new UNO CMS users?

    UNO CMS is designed with ease of use in mind. We provide video demos and onsite training (upon request) to help you smoothly onboard UNO CMS.

     

    With NEHR and Healthier SG(HSG) initiative incoming for GP Clinics in 2023, UNO CMS will be providing our fullest support to ensure GP’s smooth integration to NEHR and HSG. Mass demos, one-to-one online/offline demos, and video training will be provided to both new and current UNO clients.


  2. What support options are provided? 

    We have a dedicated support team that is available at extended hours, they are just a phone call or instant message away. UNO is also able troubleshoot your issues remotely to assist in your issue resolution. We also provide 2 free on-site support yearly as well as any subsequent visits at a small fee.  


  3.  Are there software updates to UNO CMS? 

    Our team works closely with our clients to design and release updates and new features - constantly improving our products. The updates are completely free of charge and done incrementally to ensure stability.
