MHCP vs SmartCMS

The IHiS SmartCMS programme was introduced by Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS), MOH Singapore. The programme offers Clinic Management System (CMS) integration into Singapore’s healthcare system.

Clinics using a CMS from a SmartCMS vendor can benefit from increased productivity, improved patient experience and care. This includes direct claim submissions with MOH for various healthcare schemes.

CHAS GPs and Dental clinics can now submit claims directly to MOH via their CMS, without having to visit MHCP’s website and log in separately. Offering a more convenient claims submission process and save time. All of the claims available on MHCP are available through the CMS.

Besides having all of MHCP’s features, when submitting claims through a CMS, you can also expect the following benefits:

  • Claims process automation with minimal effort

  • Pre-submission checks for balance, eligibility, and tier

  • Reduce chances of claim rejections from clerical errors

  • Reduced tedious logins

  • Autofill options

  • Claim status updates and process tracking
