Receiving the care packs from UNO Tech, MP Desmond Choo remarked:

“We are extremely touched by UNO Tech’s support to the community. It’s going to bring a lot of cheer and goodwill to our residents who are affected by COVID. We have a community care facility, many of them are going to be here for another 10 to 14 days. So, by bringing in a little token, I think it tells them that Singaporeans care, businesses do care, and all of us, if we work together, we will get through this difficult period, as one Singapore. I want to thank UNO Tech once again, for their generosity”

In light of COVID-19 endemic in Singapore, the Tampines community recovery facility is the first community treatment facility (CTF) for elderly COVID-19 patients.
